Foxhollow is a native port of the 2002 Star Fox Adventures GameCube game. Foxhollow attempts to keep the experience as close to the original as it can (bugs and all), and provide support for modding to unlock a new chapter for the game.

Automatic updates
The launcher will install everything you need to play Foxhollow and also keep you up to date!
Memory cards and saves
A convenient place to manage your game saves. You can organise your saves by tags and also see useful information at a glance. You don't need to launch the game to figure out what a save is. Foxhollow is fully compatible with saves produced on original hardware and vice versa.
Cloud saves
If you sign up for a Foxhollow account, you can enable cloud save syncing which will allow you to transfer your saves to any system that supports Foxhollow.
Modding
You can download and install mods for Foxhollow! The port comes with a few first-party mods as a proof of concept and a full modding API will be released soon!
Questions
- Why is the launcher asking me for a disc?
- Foxhollow does not distribute any of the games assets. You need to provide those yourself as a dump of the games disc legally obtained by yourself. Supported formats: .iso .rvz
- Is this an emulator?
- No. The game was decompiled into C. Then recompiled to work on modern systems. The game runs fully natively.
- What do I need to run it?
- A Mac on Apple Silicon running macOS 13 or newer, a 64-bit Windows 10 machine or newer, or most 64-bit Linux distributions.
- Why no public modding API?
- The port is created from the SFA-Decomp project (linked below). The code has already been cleaned up a lot from the decomp but it needs more work. That would mean mods essentially break on every update which is not ideal for mod developers nor players. We chose to release the port first so you can play something today and will release modding support as soon as we're happy things are stable. The port codebase is now public on GitHub, linked below as Foxhollow.
